Velocity for ClickUp. Last updated: July 15, 2026.
Short version: Velocity does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
Everything it saves stays in your own browser and never leaves your device.
What Velocity stores
Velocity saves only what you create so the extension can work:
Your saved views (the name you choose and the ClickUp URL of that view).
Your settings (the keyboard shortcut and, if you use it, the declutter selectors).
This information is stored locally through your browser's storage on your own device.
It is not uploaded anywhere.
What Velocity does not do
No analytics and no tracking.
No cookies and no advertising.
No accounts and no sign-in.
No servers owned by us receive your data, and we never sell data.
Permissions and why they are needed
Storage: to save your shortcuts and settings locally in your browser.
Active tab: to read the URL of the current ClickUp tab only when you click
"save", so the shortcut points to the correct page.
Access to app.clickup.com: so the command palette can run on the ClickUp
web app. Velocity runs only on ClickUp and nowhere else.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your saved views and settings stay until you remove them. You can delete individual items in
the extension, and uninstalling Velocity removes all data it stored.
Children
Velocity is a productivity tool for the ClickUp web app and is not directed to children.
